A native of North Carolina, Eric has been a sales and financial services industry professional since 2001, after serving 10 years in the US Army. After graduating the University of NC at Greensboro after his military service, he was a Registered Investment Advisor for Great American Financial and Jefferson-Pilot Financial in Greensboro, NC and worked for the Tom James Company in Charlotte, NC. He created EBA Payments in 2007 and built it into one of the most successful regional ISOs before selling it to First Data (Fiserv). Having built and ran a previous ISO, Eric brings a multitude of talent and expertise to the Defyne Payments team. Eric is based in Orlando, FL and enjoys hunting, fishing, motocross and all that Florida has to offer. He is fond of saying, “Integrity beyond reproach” and governs all transactions both personal and business in that manner. He looks forward to helping all types of businesses improve upon their merchant services and increasing their revenue.
